Bond is a social travel app for connecting with others before or during a trip. Users match through shared intentions like visiting a museum, grabbing a coffee, or exploring the city with a local.

Research

We began with interviews and created detailed personas of solo travelers aged 20 to 35. These helped us map their emotional journey from planning the trip to seeking spontaneous and meaningful encounters abroad. We also conducted a benchmark that revealed a clear gap in the market. Most existing platforms fail to offer genuine low-pressure connections while traveling.

The Solution

We designed Bond around user flows based on intention rather than appearance. Whether it’s visiting a museum or sharing a coffee, the experience focuses on shared interests. We created a complete design system to ensure visual and interaction consistency. The tone remains warm and fluid while evoking the spirit of travel and human connection.

The Result

We developed a high-fidelity prototype with a clear brand identity and a fully mapped experience. From discovery to real-life meetups, every screen was designed to feel intuitive and emotionally safe. The final product includes a freemium model with premium and B2B features to support long-term scalability.

Lessons Learned

Bond brought together everything we had explored in UX research, interface design and product thinking. We learned to carry a vision over time, to iterate without losing coherence and to turn emotional insight into strategic features. It remains one of our most complete and meaningful projects.
